Parish Council

The Council is a consultive body composed of the pastor, members of the parish staff, and members of the parish, which promotes pastoral action through reflection and planning. The job of the Parish Council is to deal with the mission of the church, long range and short range goals and objectives, and to design those procedures by which the pastoral work of the Church is to be accomplished

Finance Committee

The Committee prepares and monitors budget and financial planning for the parish.

Building and Maintenance Committee

The Committee plans and supervises the ongoing maintenance needs of all buildings and grounds that comprise the parish.

Cemetery Association

The Association oversees the ongoing needs of St. Mary's and St. Francis Cemeteries, including the maintaining of burial records, financial statements, cemetery upkeep and future plans.

St. Matthew's Guild

The Guild helps count and record the weekend collections.

Catholic Interparochial School Board

The Board is an advisory body created to assist in the formation of the policies for the operation and direction of the Catholic School of Pointe Coupee, policies consistent with the operation and direction of the Diocesan Board of Education. The Board is comprised of representatives of all church parishes comprising our interparochial school, with the pastor of St. Mary serving as Superintendent.
