Religious Education Board
The Committee meets on a regular basis to set goals, priorities and policies for the total parish religious education program.
Religious Education Programs for the Young
Teachers and substitutes are trained and
assisted by the Director of Religious Education to teach our young
people. This includes teachers, aides and office help for preschool,
elementary, junior and high schools. The program also includes meetings
for parents with children preparing for First Reconciliation, First
Eucharist, and Confirmation. The program includes students from
preschool through the 11th grade.
Adult Religious Education Programs
Programs provide opportunities for adults to
continue their religious education and spiritual growth; includes the
planning of classes, retreats, days of recollection, missions and
parish renewal programs.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
A ministry to those preparing for membership in the Church.
Rainbows
Rainbows is an international organization that
offers training and curricula for establishing peer support in
churches. This ministry is offered for children who are grieving a
death, divorce, or any other painful transition in their family.
Vacation Bible School
The school is scheduled each year for one week
in June, and gives children the opportunity to come together in a fun
setting to learn how Jesus fits into their lives. Volunteers are used
for teaching, aides, arts and crafts, and refreshments.
