Join us for a day of faith, fellowship and inspiration at the West Side Catholic Men's Conference hosted by the Men of the Immaculata featuring Fr. Mitch Pacwa. Along with the keynote talks by our speakers, Mass will be celebrated and lunch will be prepared. We want you to come rest with your brothers in Christ!

Parent Formation Nights

All adults are welcome to attend these events! 

In order to best support our parents, as the first catechist of their children, Parent Formation events have been added to the Fall 2024 calendar. Our hope is to provide parents opportunities to be poured into and formed alongside their child. So, they can continue to build the domestic church within their own homes. 
Our parent formation events will run parallel with our Parish School of Religion Class Schedule on Monday evenings at 6:00pm throughout the Fall 2024 semester. 

Mandatory Formation Nights Fall 2024

• Formation Night 1
  • Speaker: Emily & Jason Froeba
  • When: September 30th
  • Time: 6pm
  • Where: SMFR Parish Hall
  • Topic: "Setbacks are Just Slingshots"
    • Jason and Emily Froeba have been married for 20 years and have five beautiful children! Like many parents, they have faced the many joys, crosses and sufferings throughout their journey as parents. Jason and Emily bring great fire and motivation to parents through sharing their own experiences and knowledge from their last 20 years.

  • Speaker: Paul George

  • Topic: "TBD"
    • Paul George is a devoted husband and father. "He has been sharing impactful messages for over 27 years, speaking to over 2 million people worldwide. He speakers on topics of faith and leadership and provide relevant, creative and motivating content to various topics including married couples and adults." (paulgeorge.la) We are grateful to have him join us at St. Mary of False River.
