The Altar Society is a confraternity of men and women who care for the linens, vessels, and upkeep of the sanctuary of the church. They also raise money for new priestly vestments, and help to provide the bread and wine that are offered each weekend for consecration by the priest.
Dues for membership are $10 per member per year. You can drop your dues in the collection at Mass in an envelope marked "Altar Society Dues".
There are 5 meetings a year. While attendance is not mandatory, it is a good chance to share your ideas and visit with fellow parishioners. You're welcome to do as much or as little as your time allows!
