Prayers & Devotions

Cultivating a personal prayer life with Jesus occurs by both the daily conversation with him as one friend to another, but also in the official prayers of The Church and the varied prayers and devotions that have grown out of over 2,000 years of the People of God at prayer.

Our parish devotional schedule includes the following regular devotions (when not preempted by a funeral liturgy):

• Tuesday – Novena to Our Mother of Perpetual Help
• Wednesday – Litany and Novena to St. Joseph
• Thursday – Litany of Jesus Christ, Eternal Priest & Victim for Vocations
• Friday – Devotions to the Sacred Heart (with Benediction on First Fridays)

At St. Mary's we have a booklet of prayers and devotions, some of which are prayed during or following the daily celebration of The Mass, and some are provided to foster a shared experience of allowing the prayers cultivated over the centuries to form our own daily visits with The Lord.
