St. Mary’s Youth Ministry program helps to promote the spiritual lives of youth ranging from grades 6-12 and their families, through social, service, and faith filled activities. Adult chaperones are also needed
SMYG is currently looking for adults who would like to serve on Core Team. This team would meet with the youth minister in order to help plan and implement youth activities. The Team would signup to head committies in order to best serve our youth using their particular gifts including planning, implementing and providing in terms of fundraisers, mission trips, food for events, recruit chaperones, etc. Our youth need you!
SMYG is currently looking for youth in 9th-12th grade who would like to serve on Youth Board. These student leaders will take lead in forming their youth program, helping to plan and implement youth activities.
St. Mary of False River is taking a trip to BR! St. Michael High School is hosting a MP3 (Music, Prayer, Praise and Pizza) to kickoff the new school year! There will be inflatables, games, food, a LIVE band, Adoration, a keynote by Deacon Albert and fellowship! This is a great opportunity to get to know Christ in a deeper way and make new friends along the way!
***If we have 16-20 students to register, we can take a busload of students to the event!***

Planning the March for Life 2023 has begun! The March for Life Pilgrimage to DC is set for the week of January 16th-22nd. The primary goal of the March is personal conversion, vocation discernment and pro-life education. We hope you consider joining us to allow your personal relationship with Christ to be strengthen in a new way alongside youth throughout the Diocese of Baton Rouge! This is a pilgrimage you DO NOT want to miss!
